MAXIFORCE® WARRANTY
Maxiforce replacement parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal operating conditions and proper service.
Warranty coverage will extend 12 months from date of installation into the engine, without regard to hours of operation, but total warranty period is not to exceed 18 months from original purchase date listed on Maxiforce invoice.
Warranty Claim Notification Procedure
Maxiforce must be notified for warranty consideration prior to any repair work being performed. All warranty consideration claims must be submitted in writing. Maxiforce reserves the right to examine all elements involved in the claim, and may require proper documentation regarding:
- Fuel injection system testing and repair
- Intake and turbocharging system repair
- Cooling system repair
- EGR and aftertreatment system repair
- Oil and fluid analysis
Maxiforce cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies in evaluation due to a claimant’s inability to provide all the parts or information requested to evaluate said claim.
Parts
If the claim is deemed warrantable, Maxiforce will provide parts required to repair the warrantable failure. Replacement parts will be supplied in Maxiforce brand only. In an event where Maxiforce cannot supply replacement parts, a credit will be applied to the distributor’s account at their net cost for the equivalent of Maxiforce branded parts. Warranty credit will be paid out in the form of merchandise credit on distributor’s account.
Labor
Labor, when applicable, will be credited at no more than distributor’s cost of labor, not to exceed $40.00 USD per hour. Holiday or overtime rates do not apply. Warranty credit will be paid out in the form of merchandise credit on distributor’s account.
Expenses not covered under Maxiforce Warranty Policy
Miscellaneous expenses that are not covered under the Maxiforce warranty policy include, but are not limited to: freight charges, towing charges, travel time and expenses, diagnostic and troubleshooting time, shop supplies, down time, and machinery rental.
Installer Responsibility
Maxiforce supplies parts for complex power systems. Parts must be installed by an experienced technician practicing industry standards. It is the responsibility of the installation technician to verify parts are correct and inspect parts for damage prior to installation. All specifications and procedures must be verified and followed per OEM service information.
Owner/operator Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the owner/operator to operate and maintain the machine within the parameters stated in the OEM operator’s and maintenance manuals.
Failures due to improper installation procedure, alteration of parts, improper break-in procedure, improper maintenance, operator abuse, or progressive damage due to continued operation of engine when signs of a malfunction are present are not warrantable by Maxiforce.
Notes
This warranty is extended exclusively to direct customers of Maxiforce and is non-transferrable. All other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose are excluded.
